The Public Works Department is happy to announce that the 2022 Road Improvement Project is scheduled to start after Labor Day, Tuesday
September 6, 2022. In addition to the paving project of Dudley Street, pavement improvements will also be completed

At the May 2, 2022 City Council meeting, Council approved $1,494,642.02 in ARPA funds to be used on Public Works
projects. Mayor Michael Inman expressed his gratitude to the City Council for allocating a sizable portion of the City’s
ARPA funds to Public Works for much needed road improvements through the City.

Public Director, Alice Ohrtmann, indicated that additional road improvements will be completed Summer 2023
with the remaining ARPA funds being used to supplement revenue from the Infrastructure Sales Tax. The Public
Works Department is compiling a list of roads to be included in the next phase of the project that will be
submitted to City Council for approval.

There will be temporary traffic disruptions while the paving crew is working in your area. We ask for your patience
and understanding as they work.
