McDonough County will be doing a Special Census count this year. Field Representatives, clerical positions, and field supervisor positions are needed.
United States Citizens will be given preference for census jobs. Non-citizens will not be considered. Field Representatives will be paid $19.00 per hour, Field Supervisors $22.00 per hour.
The prospective field supervisor and field representative applicants:
• Must be at least 18 years old,

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle available for their use,
• Should have the ability to hear responses and to read questionnaires,
• Should be able to work several hours a day (a minimum of 30 hours per week), which often includes a lot of walking and climbing stairs,
• Should be available for day, evening, and weekend work, as needed,
• Should be available to attend a four-day training session and pass a background investigation.
