MCDONOUGH COUNTY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION CLOSED JANUARY 2ND AND 3RD

Due to the transition of Durham School Services to the City of Macomb, McDonough County Public Transportation will be closed on January 2nd and 3rd to both Demand Response and Go West services.
Starting January 4th, Go West will see the following changes:

  • Route 19 (micro-transit) will operate Monday – Friday at 5 scheduled times between 7:30am and 5:05pm and stop at locations such as River Run, the DMV, Bridgeway, and Macomb High School.
  • Route 18 will be back online beginning January 4th with some slight route adjustments.
  • On Saturdays, Go West will operate Route 15, 16, and 18 both in and out-of-session with extended hours (8:40am-6:10pm) with a one-hour break from 12:40pm-1:40pm where all routes and dispatch will be offline.
  • The dispatch office will close Monday – Thursday at 11pm and until routes are offline Friday – Sunday.
  • Sunday we will only operate our Amtrak route and 5 Brown when we are in-session and continue to be closed when we are out-of-session.
    Updated system maps will be available online at Public Transportation | City of Macomb or hard copies can be picked up at 701 E. Pierce Street in Macomb.
