CITY OF MACOMB TO INTRODUCE BUSINESS REGISTRY BEGINNING SPRING OF 2026
MACOMB, IL- To better serve, inform, and engage businesses in the city, the City of Macomb plans to launch a business registry starting in the 2026-2027 fiscal year. This informational database can be utilized by city officials to:
•improve communication on public safety alerts (weather, road closures, public safetyalerts).
•share information about available grants and funding opportunities.
•send timely updates about new regulations, zoning updates, or policy changes.
An active business registry will help the City of Macomb communicate with businesses, provide targeted support, strengthen partnerships, and foster a stronger local economy.
The Office of Community Development will administer the registry once it is active. Registration will be available digitally on the City of Macomb website or by visiting the Office of Community Development located on the second floor of City Hall – 232 E.
