Due to a recent change in Illinois law, electronic Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests must be written directly in the body of the email or online form. Requests that only include attachments, links, or referenced documents will not be accepted.
To avoid delays, make sure your entire FOIA request is included in the message itself when submitting electronically.
