The City of Macomb is requesting quotes for the boarding of damaged windows and doors at 1400 N Lafayette St, Macomb, Illinois. Bidders shall board the damaged windows and doors according to the International Property Maintenance Code standards. (See attached file and note the highlighted sections). Bidders may provide a flat rate or a per door/window rate. Project will include both the hotel building and the main office/lounge building. Bidders shall understand that the earliest that work may begin on the property is 10/23/23 and work shall be completed within two weeks of notice being provided by City. The City reserves the right not to proceed with this project and the successful bidder will be notified.  Please submit sealed quotes in person to the Macomb City Clerk at 232 E. Jackson Street, Macomb, IL 61455 by Friday, October 6, 2023 at 10am. Questions should be submitted to the city building inspector, Eric Lenardt. Late or unsealed quotes will not be accepted.  Quotes will not be accepted by email or fax.
