MASTER DEVELOPER FOR SPORTS-ANCHORED MIXED-USE DEVELOPMENT - REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS 

SFC (Sports Facilities Company) on behalf of Macomb, Illinois to invite statements of qualifications from experienced master developers, brokerage and/or development teams, or public-private partnership teams interested in serving as the potential master developer for a sports-anchored mixed-use district to be developed in partnership with the City. This RFQ is intended to qualify firms, not solicit final pricing, full business terms, or a complete development proposal.

This Request for Qualifications is intended to support Macomb, Illinois in identifying and pre-qualifying experienced development firms for a sports-anchored mixed-use development initiative. The goal is to qualify development teams for the City with the experience, financial capacity, and implementation discipline to deliver a sports led district. This development has the draw of an indoor multi-court facility delivered in tandem with a balance of land developed consistent with the City’s vision.

Questions must be sent no later than Thursday July 30, 2026 at 5pm CT. Qualifications submissions are due Friday, August 7, 2026 at 5pm CT.

CHANDLER PARK PLAY AREA DESIGN ASSISTANCE & EQUIPMENT PURCHASE

The City of Macomb and Farnsworth Group will receive Request for Proposals from qualified firms to provide play area design assistance & equipment purchase for Chandler Park renovations. Sealed RFP’s will be received at Farnsworth until, July 17, 2026, on or before 5:00 p.m., no proposals will be accepted after that time. Plans and specifications are available at the office of the City Clerk, 232 East Jackson Street, Macomb, IL. The City of Macomb reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all RFP’s. Questions may be submitted no later than July 10, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. to Amy Wilson, aw*****@*-w.com.
